Yeasted white loaf with a pillowy crumb

Classic long fermented sourdough with or without seeds

100% rye sourdough with or without seeds

WHOLEMEAL
95% wholemeal loaf with  malted wheat flakes and white flour 

BATON
Open textured yeasted baguette 

FOCACCIA
Chewy flat bread made and slathered with olive oil

CIABATTA 
Rustic Italian bread with irregular open crumb 



 

WEEKEND (FRI - SAT)

As well as the above loaves we offer a rotating range of exciting enclusions such as raisin and fennel, earl grey soaked dates and walnut, potato and rosemary, spiced squash! 

It would be remiss of us to not write about the bread that gets made every day here at TONCO bakery. Our bakers arrive between 3:30 - 4:30 each morning to ensure the people of Sheffield are able to get their bread fresh for breakfast They make a mixture of slow fermented sourdough which is a three day process as well as our popular yeasted loaves. On top of this they are also responsible for the acres of beautiful beige pastries that adorn our counter each morning. Using a mixture of Shipton Mill and Yorkshire Organic Millers flour they aim to bring you a consistently great bake.

Using a combination of Shipton Mill white flour and Our Cow Molly butter our team of bakers hand laminate all of the viennoiserie you see on the counter each day. And because everyone should be able to enjoy TONCO, we also have an amazing array of vegan pastries -again all made in house!   At the end of the week, like the bread, we add to our range of pastries with brioche and babka featuring evolving flavours appear.
